Wisconsin’s Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee announced Monday that after greater than two and a half years, bingo can be returning to the property on New Year’s Eve with a special session starting at noon within the property’s Legacy Ballroom.
Pre-sales for the event will begin at noon on Tuesday, December 13. Tickets will be purchased in person on the bingo reservation booth, off of the second-level skywalk, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Space is restricted, with only 600 seats on sale. Tickets for the event cost $275 and can include 44 games of bingo, with the last game’s payout being $20,000.
Regular bingo sessions will kick off on January 4, and are slated to be scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, the corporate stated. Sessions will cost between $40 and $60.
In the start, all bingo sessions can be electronic machine buy-in only. However, the corporate expects that sooner or later, paper bingo cards can be offered on the casino once again.
According to Ryan Amundson, public relations manager, the last time that bingo – “the sport that began every little thing at Potawatomi greater than 30 years ago” – was offered on the property was around St. Patrick’s Day of 2020. Potawatomi was closed from mid-March until the start of June 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
